To set up Streaming on a Formuler box, open the built-in MyTVOnline application, select Add Portal, and enter the Portal URL and MAC Address provided by StreamHub. Formuler boxes (such as the Formuler Z11 Pro Max and Z10 SE) are dedicated Streaming hardware receivers that run a custom media framework. Their proprietary application, MyTVOnline 3 (MOL3), offers the closest experience to physical cable TV, with integrated recording, timeshifting, and EPG processing. Follow this guide to configure your portal and optimize your playback.
Step-by-Step Portal Connection (XC API or Portal)
Formuler devices require portal details or Xtream Codes credentials. We recommend Portal/Stalker connection for MyTVOnline:
- Locate your MAC Address: Turn on the Formuler box and note the MAC address printed on the bottom sticker or displayed inside MyTVOnline (typically starts with
00:1A:79). - Provide MAC to Provider: Ensure your service provider has activated this specific MAC address on their server.
- Configure MOL3:
- Launch MyTVOnline 3.
- Navigate to Content Sources > Add Portal.
- Portal Name: Enter a label (e.g., "StreamHub Portal").
- Portal URL: Input the server URL (e.g.,
http://portal.domain.com/c/). - Login Required: Toggle this off unless your provider gave you specific username/password credentials.
- Connect: Click Connect to sync Networks, catch-up data, and EPG details.
To activate your Formuler MAC address, send it directly to our customer service via WhatsApp or Telegram.
Setting Up USB Recording and Timeshift
One of Formuler's key advantages is the ability to record live streams and pause live TV (timeshift):
- Format USB Storage: Insert a USB flash drive or external SSD into the USB 3.0 port. Go to Settings > Storage > Select USB Drive > Format as device storage (NTFS format is recommended for files larger than 4GB).
- Configure MOL3 Storage:
- Open MyTVOnline 3 settings.
- Go to DVR & Timeshift.
- Set Recording Path and Timeshift Path to your USB device.
- Usage: Press the Record button on your Formuler remote to record instantly, or use the EPG guide to schedule recordings for future matches.
